About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial Electrical Lead or Foreman in the Raleigh, NC area to oversee electrical crews and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive commercial electrical experience, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
There is opportunity for extensive travel to commercial, industrial, and mission-critical project sites throughout the United States. Qualified candidates will possess strong electrical installation, troubleshooting, and leadership skills while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise commercial and industrial electrical crews on construction and renovation projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily job site activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial/industrial electrical systems.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, local codes, and company standards.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.
- Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians.
- Complete daily reports, job progress updates, and material requests.
- Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
- Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman/lead electrician.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage project layouts.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Service upgrades and panel installations.
- Lighting control systems and energy-efficient solutions.
- Fire alarm and low-voltage systems experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
